Stage 1
After a damp and dreich early morning, the sun came out for a great start to Archie’s 62.75 mile fundraising walk along the canal. First leg of 9.75 miles completed bang on time arriving at Stockingford Junction at 12.30pm. Huge thanks to Mick Green for surprising Archie this morning and joining him on the walk for a couple of miles. All are welcome to join him for a mile or two, or more. This afternoon’s stage is 12 miles to Kilsyth, finishing at the Auchinstarry Marina NS 721 770.
£135 raised so far out of a target of £1000. Please give generously if you can to encourage Archie and to support the fantastic work of the Disasters Emergency Committee.

Stage 2
Today has been more challenging than I thought. Shaky legs in the final mile. However, I am being looked after beautifully by Philip and Karen, recharging the batteries ready for the off in the morning.
