Since my last post I have walked 27.2 miles ascending 1921 feet, cycled 9.34 miles ascending 629 feet capturing 8 smiles on the way and cooking some great food too. Yesterday I had my COVID test to be able to attend my operation, so I have to self-isolate. Therefore since yesterday there have been no more miles walked or cycled or smiles captured but there has been more good food cooked, and lots and lots of aerobics done in the sitting room with Rosemary and Davina. I think I am in danger of wearing out the carpet. While I cannot do much fundraising activity at the moment you will, I am sure, have become aware of the increasing pressure on millions of people starving to death because of the triple whammy of COVID, warfare and climate change related natural disaster.

There are clearly strong reasons to sponsor me for the Disasters Emergency Committee. While I undergo and recover from my operation on Thursday please donate ten minutes of your time and sponsor me to keep fighting for just £1 per month. I guarantee that every penny raised goes to save and rebuild lives through the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).
