Day 3 of the challenge consisted mainly of fog, rain, sunshine and more pill popping. I am very tired so won't go on - (Yippee!!)

However still a great day. More Chemo this morning before breakfast and then out for a walk. In fact 2 routes which totaled 8 miles walked today. The first (Abbey Craig and the Wallace Monument (5 miles)) was done in a heavy downpour and in a perpetual head fog. Even walking straight was a challenge at times. However I persevered and hit the bottom of the Abbey Craig on which the Wallace Monument stands. The effort of climbing to the top of the Craig really got the blood pumping and by the time I had reached the summit the fog had cleared. The sun came out and life was so much clearer. Great views from the top and a lovely wee meander back down to Bridge of Allan.

The second walk (Blairlogie (3 miles)) was also done in a heavy downpour but what a feeling to have the cooling rain beating off of the back of the neck and then to see the instant steam as the sun returned and warmed the surfaces. It was great to be out today, to live life to try and Beat the Beast and even better didn't get lost once!!

A big thank you to my brother Harry for joining me on the first walk and then picking me up from the end of the second. Some more Rhody bashing tomorrow and maybe even another tune if I can get the next one good enough. Excellent cognitive/motor training.
